Schuyler Hospital Cancels January 29th Blood Drive

Schuyler Hospital has cancelled their Red Cross Blood Drive for January 29, 2010.   

The Blood Drive will be rescheduled for a later date.

Additional 2010 Schuyler Hospital Red Cross blood drive dates are:  Friday, April 9; Monday, June 28; and Friday, October 15.

Residents in and around Schuyler County have the chance to “give life” by donating blood through an American Red Cross Blood Drive at Schuyler Hospital at the blood drives, held in the Seneca View Activities Room (enter northside of Hospital) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Appointments are not needed, new and previous donors are welcome, and the process takes approximately 45 minutes.

According to the American Red Cross, every minute of every day, someone needs blood, and that blood comes from volunteer donors. One pint of blood can save three lives.  Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
