PHARMACY

The Pharmacy Department at Schuyler Hospital provides all prescribed medication for inpatient and outpatient services.  Our staff is team of pharmacists and technicians who fill prescriptions and make deliveries throughout the hospital.  Pharmacy Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to our patients.

Throughout a patient's hospital stay, our pharmacists evaluate all aspects of drug therapy.  In addition to ensuring that medications are delivered promptly and accurately, pharmacists assist in:

 • Detecting and preventing drug interactions
 • Minimizing the likelihood of adverse drug reactions
 • Providing drug information to patients and
    healthcare professionals

We are committed to providing quality pharmaceutical care to our patients, and to acting collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
