COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERISM

Schuyler Hospital’s employees and physicians are continually helping others, not only through their work, but also by taking an active role in our community. It’s all part of Schuyler Hospital’s commitment to the people we serve.  Here are just some of the projects and organizations the hospital and its staff members are involved with.

• Blood drives for the American Red Cross
• Collections for the Schuyler Outreach Food Pantry and 
   Schuyler County United Way
• Partnering with CARA Charities to support the “Buckle Up Baby”
   program, which purchases car seats and gives them to
   families in need
• MASH (Medical Academy of Science and Health) Camp for local 
   8th and 9th grade students interested in learning about various
   healthcare careers
• Participation in Relay for Life and Daffodil Days for the benefit
   of the American Cancer Society
• Partner with Schuyler County Health Department and 
   Watkins-Montour Rotary for AMBA Health Fair and
   Tony Pulos Breakfast
• Co-sponsorship of and involvement in various community
   programs, including:various Schuyler County Chamber of
   Commerce events, LPGA Corning Classic, Montour Falls Fire
   Department Festival and Parade, IndyCar and NASCAR at 
   Watkins Glen International, Falls Harvest Festival, Arc of 
   Schuyler Golf Open, and Watkins Glen Village Christmas
