Schuyler Hospital through its affiliation with Cayuga Medical, the Cayuga Health System, has opened Neurosurgery Care
at September Hill - seeing patients every other Friday - located next to the hospital. The Center is clinically linked with University of Rochester's UR
Neurosurgery Care's goals are to provide complex neurosurgery treatment and care locally with access to tertiary
care when it is needed. New services include monitoring the intracranial pressure of patients, which is very helpful for people with brain tumors, head
trauma, strokes, or any type of intracranial issue. Neurosurgery Care is also looking to develop a multidisciplinary approach to treating back pain and
diseases of the spine.
